SUBSCRIBING REGULARLY OR MAKING DONATIONS

We have all said how nice it would be to do something for the poor children in India; then said it would be nice to find a charity that gives most of what they collect. In our case 91 Pence in the Pound goes to the poor (only printing / stationary / postage is paid for by our Charity). Some other Charities spend as much as 50% of their donations on administration, offices, salaries etc., whereas our Committee Members provide the rest gratis; all the facilities, effort and time provided by goodwill.

The people who support our Charity do so because they want their money distributed evenly around India: not to any specific group. The criteria being - help must be to the poor only, regardless of their back ground, regional location or religion. We see them as God would see them - as poor Indian children. He would like us to treat them well, while they are young and helpless, and need our help - NOW.

Our various contributors get Newsletters detailing what funds we have in hand, how much we are sending to the different groups, and other Committee information and decisions . We welcome any contributors to attend our Meetings and to make suggestions. Regular contributors may join the Committee at a later date. All contributors can play a part if they choose to.

All payments made from the U.K., U.S.A., and Canada may be made by Cheque, Bank Draft or by Bank Transfer directly to our Treasurer or Bank in the U.K. - ACCOUNT # 36246077; all payments to be made out to:

"FRIENDS OF INDIA EDUCATIONAL AND WELFARE FUND".
